Midsummer Nights Dream
To be completely honest I didn't understand any of this play. I attempted to read it, and I spent about an hour on the first page, and I still didn't know what was going on. I then tried to watch the play, which was even worse. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone got out of this play since I don't have much of anything to say. Sorry I can't add anything, but Shakespeare totally confuses me.

Haha tell me about it... i think to get a better back ground on the play we should watch the movie Get Over It! it's an awesome movie, its funny and it sums up all of a mid summers night dream. I think shakespeare is hard to read but after seeing that movie its a little more easy for me get into the story and relate to the point hes trying to get across.
There are many great outlets for understanding the basic "story" in each of the plays. Several summary genres, like Sparknotes or Cliff's Notes, are dedicated to the task of deciphering the undecipherable for students. Simply googling the title of the play will bring up many study questions, notes, and summaries that might help to supplement your understanding of the play. Sometimes reading some of these and THEN going back to the original words and language help to bringing a greater understanding of the events in the play.
